About this course

Overview

A Joyful First Step into Mathematics

Our goal is simple: we want children to enjoy the class so much that they don’t want it to end.

For our youngest students, mathematics begins with curiosity, play, and discovery. Children explore numbers, patterns, shapes, logic, and spatial relationships through games, hands-on activities, construction sets, mosaics, and other materials designed for young learners.

At this age, children learn by doing. They build, sort, compare, experiment, look for patterns, and figure things out for themselves. Along the way, they discover that mathematics is much more than counting—it is a way to understand and explore the world around them.

Most importantly, we want their first experience with math to be filled with curiosity, confidence, and the excitement of discovering something new.

Flexible schedule

8-weeks programs, you can take one or two sessions

The program will help kids to start grade K smoothly and confidently.

Math is Not Boring

They are excited to come back next week to learn more! Math is no longer scary and boring.

Hands-on learning

Our interactive approach is an engaging way for students to experiment and problem-solve. We teach our students the foundations of math with hands-on exercises.

What to expect:

The program runs in short 8-week sessions. Session I: January X- February X Session II: March X- April X

Groups of 4-6 students meet in-person once a week for 45 minutes, as students usually want to stay longer to finish the games we give them the option to do so.

In addition to the basics of arithmetic, our lessons consist of fun math riddles, puzzles, games, and construction sets. Our goal is for our lessons to be fun and enjoyable while covering all essential material.

Our goals:

Many children begin to think of math as boring and dry, we aim to present mathematics in a fun and exciting manner. We want to capture the children’s interest and prepare them to solve the problems of tomorrow

Early exposure to mathematical thinking and problem solving helps children be prepared for the school curriculum and easily attain the necessary skills to be academically ready.

Computational skills are required for all facets of life, we want to introduce the foundations of math that can be built upon.

The program will help kids to start grade K smoothly and confidently.

Common outcomes:

Students leave class with thoughts like ``I can do it`` and ``that was awesome``

Love challenging friends and family with cool new riddles and math games

Be ahead of other students in their class and perform well in school

Math is no longer scary and boring

Be excited to come back next week to learn more!

We teach important skills while having fun!

improving number sense: from counting objects to doing simple arithmetic

developing logical thinking: our experience has shown kids love solving puzzles and we want to nurture their natural curiosity.

Introduction to spatial reasoning: We help develop 2D and 3D reasoning through construction sets and mosaics.

working as a team: we help students develop the social skills needed for solving complex problems and working as part of a group.
